Disney's All-Star Music Resort is one of three All-Star Resorts and is currently the only Value Resort to currently offer suites as well as standard rooms. The All-Star Music Resort is sandwiched between the All-Star Movies Resort and the All-Star Sports Resort on a vast 62 acre site in the Animal Kingdom Resort area and is just a short drive from Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney-MGM Studios.
The All-Star Music Resort is themed on different types of music, everything from country and western, jazz, Broadway right up to rock 'n' roll and the 5 pairs of motel style three storey blocks are named after Calypso, Jazz, Rock, Country and Broadway.
Giant replicas of bolo ties, maracas, top hats and tap shoes decorate the whole of the resort and each room has a music theme with Disney characters and musical motifs.

The rooms are small and fairly basic; there is no closet, just a clothes rail and a shelf in the bathroom, table and chair and a television.
Standard rooms are around 260 square feet and will sleep 4 (plus a baby in a crib). Most rooms come with either a king-size bed or two double beds.
There are two types of standard room; Standard Location and Preferred Location. With Preferred Location you are closer to the pool and guest facilities and hence have less distance to walk.
In 2006, Disney paired up a number of rooms to make Family Suites (520 square feet) with a separate bedroom, living room, kitchenette and two bathrooms. Each suite will sleep 6 (plus a baby in a crib) with a double bed in the bedroom and convertible sofas and chairs in the other room.
The Family Suites are priced at about double the normal rooms so if you are a large family group, you need to decide between the convenience of one suite sleeping 6 as opposed to two normal rooms sleeping up to 8.
All prices quoted are the general Disney rates (rack rate) per night for 2008 and do not include taxes. Occupancy is based on two adults sharing, extra charges may apply for additional adults. Prices vary by season (see sidebar) and sometimes offers are available. 2007 rates can be seen after the 2008 rates.
