Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is one of three All-Star Resorts and adjoins the All-Star Music Resort on a vast 62 acre site in the Animal Kingdom Resort area and is just a short drive from Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney-MGM Studios.
The All-Star Sports Resort is themed on different types of sports such as surfing, basketball, baseball, tennis and football and the 5 pairs of motel style three storey blocks are named after Surf's Up!, Hoops Hotel, Center Court, Touchdown! and Home Run Hotel .
Giant replicas of surfboards, pennants, racquets, basket ball hoops, bats and football helmets decorate the whole of the resort and each room has a sports theme with images of athletes on the bedspreads.

The rooms are small and fairly basic; there is no closet, just a clothes rail and a shelf in the bathroom, table and chair and a television.
Standard rooms are around 260 square feet and will sleep 4 (plus a baby in a crib). Most rooms come with either a king-size bed or two double beds.
There are two types of standard room; Standard Location and Preferred Location. With Preferred Location you are closer to the pool and guest facilities and hence have less distance to walk.
All prices quoted are the general Disney rates (rack rate) per night for 2008 and do not include taxes. Occupancy is based on two adults sharing, extra charges may apply for additional adults. Prices vary by season (see sidebar) and sometimes offers are available. 2007 rates can be seen after the 2008 rates.
